I’m riding this October to fund critical therapy, vital equipment, connection and moments of joy for over 1,600 Brainwave children living with brain disorders across Australia.

Every day in Australia, around 10 children are diagnosed with a serious brain illness or injury — conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, cerebral palsy, acquired brain injuries, or rare neurological disorders. That means over 3,000 families each year suddenly face fear, uncertainty, and life-changing challenges.

Brainwave Australia is the only national charity dedicated to supporting these families. This October, I’m taking part in a ride to raise funds that will go directly toward vital therapy, equipment, hospital support, and special experiences for more than 1,600 children cared for by Brainwave. Whether it’s hospital care packs, mobility aids, family camps, or connection-based programs, Brainwave helps families feel less isolated and better supported for the road ahead.
