Liam and Ollie are riding 50km this October to fund therapy, vital equipment, connection and moments of joy for over 1,600 Brainwave children living with brain disorder

Liam and Ollie were diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at 18 months old. They have been lucky to receive the support of Brainwave throughout their journeys with funding for equipment, hospital packs and fun family days.

On average, 10 children a day in Australia are diagnosed with a brain illness or injury – life-changing conditions like epilepsy, stroke, cerebral palsy, brain injuries and rare neurological disorders. That’s more than 3,000 families every year, suddenly facing fear, uncertainty, and overwhelming challenges. Brainwave Australia is the only national charity dedicated to walking alongside these families.

This October, we’re riding to raise funds for critical therapy, essential equipment, emergency support, and moments of joy for over 1,600 children supported by Brainwave. From hospital packs and mobility aids to family camps and connection-focused care, your support helps families feel less alone and more equipped to face what lies ahead.

Your donation is more than a number – it provides tangible support for families navigating a child’s brain disorder. It helps fund therapy, essential equipment, and access to programs that bring hope and connection when it’s needed most. Support our team and help us ride for brighter futures. Together, we ride.
