Supporting Amellia and her family!
On average, 10 children a day in Australia are diagnosed with a brain illness or injury – life-changing conditions like epilepsy, stroke, cerebral palsy, brain injuries and rare neurological disorders. That’s more than 3,000 families every year, suddenly facing fear, uncertainty, and overwhelming challenges. Brainwave Australia is the only national charity dedicated to walking alongside these families.
On the 11th October we’re riding to raise funds for critical therapy, essential equipment, emergency support, and moments of joy for over 1,600 children supported by Brainwave.
We are riding to show our support to Amelia, a 7 year old local Werribee kid who is living with a complex brain malformation. Her mother Catherine was apart of our Daughters of the West program this year and asked us to get onboard with this important fundraisesr to help kids like Amelia.
Your donation is more than a number – it provides tangible support for families navigating a child’s brain disorder.
